Elbow.ttf font test 01


Here is the first font test for elbow.ttf, the “E” and “A” both need work, and I haven’t even started with the letter-spacing yet. It’s meant to evoke schematic annotations, without being too “architectural block cap”-like. I’m hoping it has a loose kind of appeal.

Update: Added a sIFR elbow.ttf test, check it out – I’m having problems with it in IE 7 but I think it is a matter of my browser settings. Will check over the next few days.

Update: I’ve tweaked the “E” and the “A”, now it’s just a matter of getting the spacing right. When the portfolio goes live I intend to make the font available for download, not that it is of much use to anyone but me.

Update: I’ve solved the problem with sIFR in IE 7 – it’s a Flash plug-in install bug, which required me to uninstall IE’s Flash plug-in and then re-install it in order to see any Flash requiring Javascript.
