Jetta and Atari

I thought I’d like to add some advertising once in a while that I find or have found to be particularly interesting or inspiring to my blog. So in that spirit, here’s an ad I love. The father’s furtive glance (ostensibly he’s waiting for “the objector”) is a really nice touch.

And on the YouTube note, the other day I stumbled across this fabulous doc from the eighties mentioned on AtariAge. What amazes me is that these guys’ conversations sound like I might have heard them in a boardroom yesterday. Imagic was a brilliant company, the games were mad and the design of their packaging was head and shoulders above the crowd (with the possible exception of Activision) – I remember the smell of a newly opened cartridge well.
